Tarantula Turret

Not every model on the table needs a crew. This is a self-operating sentry gun — a squat weapon mount on a splayed tripod, dropped into position by an Imperial force to cover a corridor, a breach or an approach lane and left to shoot at anything that walks into it. On the board it does double duty. As a unit it is cheap area denial that punishes flanking moves; as scenery it dresses a fortified position, a landing pad or a bunker line with something that looks like it was bolted down in a hurry and never collected. Built at tabletop wargaming scale to sit alongside standard power-armoured infantry, and supplied as a multi-part kit across seven files. Good for players building Imperial defence emplacements, and for anyone who wants objective markers with a reason to exist.
