Tau Breacher Team

Fire Warriors trained for the part of a war that happens indoors. A Breacher team is the close-quarters version of the standard Tau infantry squad, carrying short-ranged pulse weaponry meant for storming buildings, clearing tunnels and fighting through boarding corridors, where a long firing line counts for nothing. Visually they are the antidote to the gothic bulk of the rest of that setting: smooth panelled armour, sealed helmets and an engineered cleanliness closer to a concept car than a cathedral. Painters tend to enjoy them for exactly that reason, with broad plates, hard panel breaks and plenty of room for squad markings. This is a squad-sized release rather than a single sculpt, running to a large number of files and built at tabletop wargaming scale. It is aimed at players putting a cadre together from scratch, or reinforcing infantry that already holds the middle of the table.
