Tau Broadside

Where most Tau battlesuits are built to leap, reposition and vanish, the Broadside plants its feet and shoots. It is the cadre's dedicated armour-killer: a squat, heavily plated walker carrying weapons far larger than a suit that size has any business mounting, braced against the recoil rather than dodging it. Fielded as a team, Broadsides anchor a gunline and punish anything heavy that strays into open ground. The stance is deliberately static and weighty, so they read as artillery standing among the lighter, more acrobatic suits in the rest of the army, and that bulk gives a painter a generous amount of armour plate to work across. With eighty-odd files behind it this is a substantial multi-part kit at tabletop wargaming scale, aimed at players building a full support element rather than one model.
