Tau Devilfish

The workhorse of any Tau cadre is the grav-tank that skims over the battlefield rather than grinding across it, carrying a squad of Fire Warriors into position and pulling back before the return fire lands. The design language is unmistakable: flat planes and soft chamfers, a low nose, wide engine nacelles and a compact turret sitting proud of an otherwise clean upper deck. Set against the riveted gothic armour that fills most grimdark ranges, it reads as deliberately, coldly modern. A vehicle on this scale arrives as a substantial multi-part kit, which gives a modeller plenty to work with whether the tank is destined for a mechanised army list or a display shelf. The broad, uninterrupted flanks leave room for squadron markings and unit insignia, and the hovering stance lends the finished model a poise that tracked armour never quite manages.
