Sniper work in the T'au way of war is a two-person business: a marksman with a long-barrelled rifle and a spotter to find the target and call the shot. That is what this set is for — the specialist recon element that sits well forward of the firing line and removes the enemy officer before the main engagement begins. On the table it is a character-hunting unit, the answer to the opposing warlord, the psyker or the sergeant holding an objective. Players who field the T'au tend to want one of these teams precisely because the rest of the army is built to shoot at range and needs something that can reach past the front rank. Nine files make up the download, so it arrives as a multi-part kit — plenty for a cadre commander who is building a proxy force or filling a gap in an existing detachment at tabletop wargaming scale.
