Terrax Termite Assault Drill

Armour does not always arrive over the hill. The termite-pattern drill is a burrowing assault transport, built to carry a squad beneath the battlefield and put them up through the floor behind an enemy line: a blunt armoured hull with an enormous conical cutting head mounted on the nose, heavy bracing down the flanks, and a cabin that owes more to mining equipment than to any tank. It is one of the more distinctive vehicles in the grimdark canon precisely because it is so unsubtle — industrial plant pressed into war. As a model it makes an obvious centrepiece, and the drill head alone offers a painter something no boxy troop carrier can. Ten files make up the kit, at tabletop scale alongside standard infantry.
