Description
Somewhere between a Norse saga and a battlefield surgery sits this squad, which answers the question of what happens when men raised on a frozen death world are handed power armour and a great deal of cybernetic replacement. The name does the work: wolves, but rebuilt, with augmetics standing in for whatever the ice and the fighting took off them. Sculpted as an unofficial stand-in for a well-known Chapter of pelt-wearing shock troops, it is aimed at players who want their infantry to look like scarred veterans rather than parade-ground marines. Totems, fangs and trophies belong on these warriors as much as bolters do. The result drops straight into a 28mm sci-fi force as a squad with genuine character, and gives painters considerably more to work with than flat armour plate.
