A grand civic landmark shrunk to tabletop size. The model is a full neoclassical public building rendered in crisp grey. It has a symmetrical multi-storey block of regularly spaced rectangular windows, corner pavilions capped with low pyramidal roofs, a stepped central tower, and off to one side a distinctive shallow dome. At the front, a colonnaded portico with a run of steps leads up to the entrance, giving it the air of an opera house, courthouse, museum or town hall. The whole structure sits on its own thick square plinth, so it stands cleanly on a shelf or gaming table. This is a treat for diorama builders, model-railway landscapers and city-scene hobbyists who need a hero building at the heart of a layout. Painted in warm stone tones with a soft grey wash in the window recesses, it reads instantly as a period downtown centrepiece. It also works as an architectural study print or a desk model for anyone who loves classical facades. Print notes: • Print upright on the base; the flat plinth gives excellent bed adhesion and no need for a raft. • The dome and portico overhangs want light supports; tree/organic supports keep the colonnade gaps clean. • A 0.2mm layer height keeps the many window mullions sharp without a marathon print time. • Resin will capture the finest cornice lines, but PLA at low layer height holds up well for display scale. Resize to your layout's ratio before slicing to match neighbouring structures.
