Typhus Herald of The Plague God

Few villains in the grimdark canon are as unpleasantly patient as the plague god's chosen herald. He began as a first captain of a proud legion and ended as a carrier: hollowed out by a contagion he now takes from world to world, kept upright long past any span nature would allow, and utterly unhurried about it. This proxy takes that character as its subject, a towering and bloated warlord in pitted heavy armour whose threat is attrition rather than speed. It works as the centrepiece of a decay-themed force, the model everything else in the army list is built around, and comes as a multi-part kit for anyone assembling a commander at that size. Painters generally get more out of a subject like this than out of clean power armour, since rot, rust and creeping organic growth reward the sort of layered, patient work that polished ceramite simply does not.
