Company command in the Adeptus Astartes is a front-line job, and this officer is sculpted for exactly that reading: a senior figure in the heavier, more ornate armour that separates a captain from the battle-brothers around him, carrying the rank markings and weapon of a man expected to lead an assault personally. The Ultramarines are the Imperium's byword for discipline and doctrine, and a captain of theirs is meant to look composed rather than frenzied. The model comes as a multi-part kit, the usual arrangement for a character of this weight, and is aimed at grimdark science-fiction tabletop games at tabletop wargaming scale as an HQ choice or army warlord. It earns its place as a painting centrepiece too.
