Ultramarines Storm Shields

Heraldic tower shields dripping with gothic menace — wings, skulls and swinging censers. Each shield presents a deep green field framed in gold, crowned by a pair of broad feathered wings that fan out from a central haloed skull. A spine of stacked skulls runs down the middle like a grim keystone, flanked by studded rivets and cut-away arches at the base. From the lower corners hang chained, orb-shaped censers that read as purity seals or incense burners — the full grimdark parade-armour look. This is a multi-part set: five distinct shield faces plus a separate power-armour grip, so you can kit out a whole command squad or bodyguard unit with varied heraldry rather than clones. They are built as proxy wargear for 28mm sci-fi knights and armoured super-soldiers. Print notes: • Resin gives the cleanest skulls and feather edges; these are detail-dense parts. • Stand each shield upright on its edge and support the wing tips and the hanging censers, which are the obvious overhangs. • Print the grip separately and dry-fit it to your model's forearm before gluing — trim the contact face for a snug seat. • Prime dark, then zenithal white; the recessed skull column is made for a heavy wash and gold edge-highlighting.
