Conversion work lives or dies on heads. Swap one out and a squad of identical armoured troopers suddenly has a sergeant, a veteran or a named character, and this is a bit made for exactly that job: a single classically styled head for grimdark power-armoured infantry, drawn with an eye on Roman legionary helms. The reference is not subtle, and it is not meant to be. Science-fiction armies of this kind have always borrowed from imperial Rome, all crested helmets, stern faces and the visual language of discipline and long tradition, and a head like this pushes an otherwise stock body firmly in that direction. It is aimed at kitbashers rather than at people who build straight from the box: the sort who keep a tin of spare bits on the desk and swap parts about until a unit looks like theirs rather than everyone else's.
