Wargames Terrain 28mm Building Details Roof Ventilator

A rooftop extractor to break up bare wargames buildings. This is a multi-part 28 mm terrain detail: a boxy ventilator housing built around a large circular duct bore, with a square mounting flange and a row of raised locating tabs along the top edge for seating the grille and cap. Glued onto a factory, bunker or hab-block roof, it adds the industrial clutter that makes a table feel lived-in and gives your troops something worth fighting over. The download comes as separate STLs, body top and bottom, grille, duct insert, ventilator and two mounting parts, so you can build it up in layers or leave sections off for a battle-damaged look. Print notes • Small enough to print quickly on FDM at 0.2 mm; resin sharpens the grille edges if you want them crisp. • Print the housing with the bore vertical to keep the circular opening clean and support-free. • Dry-fit the duct insert before gluing, a touch of sanding helps the layered parts seat flush. • Base-coat metallic, then sponge on rust and grime to sell the worn industrial feel.
