Wargames Terrain Bio Walls

Living scenery for battlefields that pulse and writhe. These two Bio Wall pieces are sculpted as slabs of organic, alien tissue — ropey muscle fibres, sinew and fleshy ridges knotted together into low barricades rather than tooled brick or stone. The surface is all irregular striations and glistening bulges, the sort of biomechanical growth you'd expect creeping across a hive world or an infested hull. Dropped onto a 28–32mm wargames table they make instant cover and board dividers for sci-fi skirmishes, turning a plain mat into something that feels colonised and alive. Terrain builders can also break them up into chunks of alien overgrowth clustered around larger set-pieces. Print notes • The organic forms are forgiving: FDM at 0.2mm hides layer lines inside the natural texture, and there are no fine edges to chip. • Print flat on the base with the ridged face up; minimal supports thanks to the low, spreading profile. • Skip vase mode — these want solid walls and a little infill for table durability. • Undercoat purple-red, then a heavy wash and a pink dry-brush to sell the wet, fleshy look.
