Description

A slab of grim-industrial armour, cog-toothed and battle-worn. Shown here is one of the terrain "bitz" plates from the set: a roughly shield- or tombstone-shaped panel whose top edge is crenellated with chunky cog-teeth, its face carrying a low-relief emblem — an arched band above what reads as a stylised skull-and-machinery boss. This is classic grimdark sci-fi scenery dressing: a bolt-on plate to break up flat walls, clad a bunker, face a ruined building, or armour up a vehicle or objective marker. The pack pairs several numbered plates with matching blank versions, so you can mix detailed and plain panels across a table, or sculpt and kitbash your own iconography onto the blanks. Because these are decorative greebles rather than structural parts, they are forgiving to print. FDM handles them well at terrain scale: lay each plate flat on the bed, detail-side up, for clean relief and zero supports, and hold 0.2 mm layers to keep the emblem crisp without long print times. Resin gives sharper, display-grade edges if you want them. Prime dark, drybrush metallics, then add rust washes and edge chipping to lean into the worn forge-world look. Once painted, glue them to MDF or foamcore scenery with superglue or PVA. Print several at once — repeated across a board they turn plain terrain into something that looks purpose-built and lived-in.
