Wargames Terrain Bulkhead Door For Necromunda Wall Section

A heavy blast door, bolted for the underhive. This is a riveted bulkhead door built to drop straight into gothic sci-fi tabletops. The panel is a slightly irregular slab framed by a dense run of dome-head rivets around every edge, with two chunky barrel hinges stacked on the left side and a simple lever latch low on the right. Recessed reinforcing strips and a small kick-plate break up the face, so a coat of gunmetal, an oil wash and some rust streaks bring out all that industrial character. It is scaled and detailed for 28-32 mm skirmish games, making an ideal doorway for a hab-block, bunker, cargo bay or corridor board. Use it as a fixed set piece glued into a wall section, or magnetise it so it can swing or pop out during play. Because it is a flat-ish part it is fast and cheap to run off in numbers when you are kitting out a whole table. Print notes • Lay it flat, detail-face up: no supports needed on the face, and the rivets print cleanly straight off the plate. • FDM at 0.12-0.16 mm layers holds the rivet domes; resin makes them razor sharp for display quality. • Print a few at once and vary the weathering so repeated doors do not look cloned across the board. • If you want it to actually open, print the hinges slightly oversized and pin them with wire.
