Wargames Terrain Cargo Container

Rugged modular cargo containers to litter your battlefield with cover and clutter. This is a tabletop terrain kit for a stackable freight/cargo container, supplied as a set of interlocking STL parts — top and bottom corner castings, plain and mirrored doors, a full door panel, and extra greebled detail plates. The pictured component reads as a heavy end/roof module with two arched, louvre-slatted vents recessed into a bevelled face and a stepped, keyed rim so pieces click together. The blocky, industrial styling drops straight into sci-fi, post-apocalyptic and modern-military tables as objectives, LoS-blocking cover or scatter to fill dead space. Because it is modular, you can build a single crate or bash a whole shipping yard from repeats, mixing door and blank faces for variety. Print notes • Everything is designed to print flat and support-free where possible — lay each panel on its back and let the corner castings self-support on the plate. • FDM is the right tool for chunky terrain: 0.2 mm layers, 3 walls and 10–15% infill give a robust, paint-ready crate that survives gaming. • The louvred vents and door recesses take a wash beautifully — prime, base-coat metal or shipping-orange, then a dark wash and edge drybrush for instant weathering. • Dry-fit the keyed corners before gluing; a touch of sanding on the mating tabs gives a tight, wobble-free stack. Scale to 28–32 mm heroic by default, or shrink for 15 mm / 6 mm epic games.
