Description
A stout round keep built for tabletop battlefields and miniature landscapes. This is a cylindrical stone tower rendered as two stacked drums, split by a raised belt course, and capped with a wide crenellated parapet that overhangs on a ring of corbels. A smaller battlemented turret rises from the centre of the roof like a lookout post, doubling the silhouette of merlons and embrasures. Narrow arrow-slit windows — some square, some arched — are punched around the walls at staggered heights, hinting at a spiral stair climbing inside. It slots straight into 28mm skirmish terrain, a model-railway backdrop, a D&D encounter, or a fantasy diorama where you want a solid vertical anchor point. Paint it as weathered granite, whitewashed limestone, or grim fortress stone depending on your table. Print notes: • Prints hollow and effectively support-free base-down; the overhanging parapet corbels may want a handful of light supports or a bridging-friendly slicer profile. • Scale it freely — shrink for N-gauge railway scenery or enlarge for a 28mm garrison piece. • Crenellations come out cleanest with a 0.4 mm nozzle; brush the walls in stone greys and drybrush the merlon edges to bring out the battlements.
