Description

A full katana build broken into printable segments — the whole blade, not just a slice. The preview shows the clean profile of a slender, gently curved single-edged blade sweeping up to a rounded kissaki tip: the classic silhouette of a Japanese sword styled after Tomioka's Nichirin blade from the Demon Slayer world. What makes this the "Assembly Version" is the file set — the blade is split into four sequential sections (Blade1–4) plus a pointed tip variant, two closer/end-cap options, and the full katana mesh, so you can print a display-length sword on a modest bed and pin the pieces together. It is aimed at cosplayers and prop collectors who want a wall-hangable or con-ready katana without a monster printer. Segmenting also lets you reinforce the joins with a steel or carbon rod down the core for a rigid, safe display blade. Print notes • Print blade sections flat on their side for strength along the length; add a chamfer or key so segments align. • Run a 6–8mm rod through the internal channel and epoxy the joins — sanding across seams then priming hides them completely. • "Closer_Option1" needs supports; "Closer_Option2" is designed to print cleanly if you want to skip them. • Finish with filler-primer, wet-sand the blade faces, then paint steel-grey with a colour-tinted edge to match the anime look. A satisfying multi-evening build that rewards patience at the seam-sanding stage.
