Somebody noticed that a banana curves the same way a katana does, and then built the joke properly instead of leaving it as a remark. That is the model: a sword whose blade is fruit, with the same long sweep and the same rising tip, executed with a completely straight face. Played for laughs it would fall flat; played seriously it is very funny.
