Behind the filename sits a straightforward thing: a katana built as a prop rather than a weapon. The profile follows the traditional pattern — a gentle curve running the length of the blade, a guard at the collar, a wrapped grip tapering back to the pommel — but with the clean, cinematic proportions favoured by film armourers rather than the fussier historical ones. Props like this do two jobs. The first is costume: a samurai, a modern-day swordsman, a stylised anime silhouette that needs a blade in hand before it reads properly. The second is the wall, where a sword is simply decoration and nobody has to think about an edge. It comes as a multi-part kit, which is what a full-length sword usually demands, and it makes a good first serious finishing project — long, open surfaces are forgiving to work on and genuinely satisfying once they come out right.
