Description

A demon's blade that folds into your palm. This is a print-in-place collapsing katana modelled on Kokushibo, the six-eyed upper-rank demon — and the whole gimmick lives in the hilt you see here: a deep-navy grip banded like wrapped cord, marched top to bottom with rows of those eerie yellow, red-pupilled eyes. Push it and the telescoping blade slides down to nest inside itself; pull and it snaps back to full length. It comes off the plate fully assembled — no glue, no screws. Perfect for anime fans, cosplayers wanting a lightweight non-metal prop, and fidgeters who like a satisfying mechanical toy on the desk. Print notes • Print in place, no supports — the collapsing joints are built into the model, so don't scale below 100% or the tolerances seize. • A well-tuned printer matters here: dial in your flow and use 0.16–0.2 mm layers so the nested segments move freely on the first try. Crack it loose gently once cool. • Two files included: the full print-in-place katana plus a short "Blade Print Test" so you can validate clearances before committing to the long print. • The hilt looks best in blue with the eyes hand-painted (or done via filament swaps); a satin topcoat keeps the moving parts smooth.
