Collapsing Katana Kyojuro Rengoku

Rengoku is the Flame Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, one of the order's senior swordsmen, and the sword he carries is among the most requested props in modern anime cosplay. This take on it is drawn as a collapsing design, aimed at people who want the weapon with them at a convention as well as posed for photographs afterwards. The shape is a Japanese sword throughout: a long, gently curved single edge running back to a guard, and a two-handed grip behind that. It is the outline everyone recognises from the fight scenes, which is why it works as a costume piece even before anyone spots which swordsman you have come as.
