Description

The curved body of a little Gothic chapel, arches, piers and all. Corps de bâtiment means the main block of a building, and that is what this multi-part kit builds: a gently curved wall section, an apse-like sweep, carried on slim columns, pierced by tall round-headed arches and framed for glass. The download is split into sensible pieces, the main body (Corps), the pillar surrounds beneath the roofline (encadrements piliers sous toit), and a set of stained-glass window inserts (one petit vitrail plus vitrail 1 to 4) that drop into the openings. It is aimed at model builders, diorama makers and railway-layout scenery, or anyone assembling a fantasy town or nativity scene who wants a believable ecclesiastical structure. Print notes • Print the wall body upright so the arches keep their true curve; expect supports across the open arch spans. • Run the vitrail panels flat and thin: print them in clear or translucent resin/filament and backlight with an LED for a real stained-glass glow. • Keep the slender columns and tracery at a fine layer height (0.12 mm) to avoid losing the delicate framing. • Dry-fit the encadrement pieces before gluing; a dab of filler blends the seams into the stonework. Combine several copies to extend the nave, or pair with matching roof and tower parts for a full miniature church.
