Katana Blades Cover 3

Japanese swords are as much about the furniture as the steel, and the covering over the blade is the part an audience actually sees when the weapon is at rest. This is the third design in a run of them, drawn for cosplay and display builds rather than as a working sword. Props like this carry a costume when the character is standing still. The long, clean line of a sheathed katana does more for a silhouette than any amount of fussy detail elsewhere, and it holds up under the flat, unforgiving lighting of a convention hall — which is where most of these end up being photographed. It suits anime and samurai-film cosplay, ronin and shinobi builds, and stand-alone display pieces destined for a shelf or a wall mount. A single-file download, and a good candidate for a proper finishing pass with sanding and primer once it is built.
