Katana Blades Cover 4

The katana is the sword almost anyone can draw from memory: a single edge, one long shallow curve, a two-handed grip bound for control. It carries an enormous amount of costume weight on its own — put one across a character's back and the silhouette has done half the work before anyone reads the rest of the outfit. This is the fourth design in a series of katana covers, which matters if you are kitting out more than one character, or want the swords carried by a group to differ from each other rather than all matching. Props of this kind are what conventions and photoshoots actually run on. You get the presence of a blade without the problems that come with steel, and something you can repaint later for an entirely different character.
