Description

A minotaur labyrinth-warden, hunched behind a tower shield with a chained spiked ball coiled at his hooves. The minotaur read is turned all the way up: bull skull, forward-curling horns that end beside the jaw, iron nose ring, hoofed digitigrade legs, all of it buried in scavenged battle plate two sizes too small for him. The shield stands as one flat vertical face from the hoof line to the horn tips, and the head is cranked low over its top rim, so the outline is a narrow, dense column rather than a wide charging wedge. Detail is cut as heavy slabs, fat rivets and deep plate gaps, simplified into planes and designed to stay legible when the figure is scaled down for a heroic-scale table as well as when it is left at display size. The sculpt depicts rust-pitted wrought iron over a stiff mail skirt, strapped down with cracked black leather; coal-black hide matted into greasy cords; horn the colour of dull bone with soot-black cracks; cast-iron chain rubbed shiny where it drags. He stands on broken limestone maze-wall blocks with a chamfered rim, pale dust over the rubble. The posture is a guard beast at a dead end — patient, cornered, in no hurry — waiting for whoever turns the last corner. An original design, usable as a counts-as minotaur for maze-dungeon warbands. One mesh, 203,462 triangles, watertight and manifold. Figure and base are a single continuous body: both hooves, the shield's bottom edge and the loose chain swell into the stone with a generous fillet, and the underside is milled wide, level and flat. No pre-cut parts and no alternate variants in this release. As modelled it stands 149 mm tall with a 128.78 × 132.932 mm footprint. It fits the plate it was measured against; check yours before scaling. Overhanging surface is 5.59 percent of the total, and the thinnest wall measures 0.892 mm. Estimated print time 792 minutes, and about 192 g of filament, derived from the model volume rather than reported by a slicer. No assembly. The model was not cut, so there is nothing to pin, align or glue. Buy once and print it as often as you like for yourself, including repaints and rescales. Do not resell, share or redistribute the file itself. If you want to sell prints of it, a commercial-use licence is sold as a separate tier. Changelog — 2026-10-04: first release. Single-part mesh, integrated limestone base.
