Ring Lamp

The One Ring — precious, and wrapped in fire-script. A faithful take on Tolkien's One Ring: a plain, rounded gold band whose only adornment is the flowing Tengwar inscription curving around its outer face — the verse that blazes into view when the Ring is cast into fire. The warm gold and softly polished, gently domed profile capture that deceptively simple, seductive look. Note that although the listing calls it a lamp, what the model actually is is a ring, so that is what I am describing. It makes a wearable and a display centrepiece for any Lord of the Rings fan, a cosplay essential, or a cheeky surprise tucked into a proposal box. Print & finish notes: • The engraved script is fine work — resin (SLA) holds it far better than an FDM nozzle. If you go FDM, scale up and print an oversized display ring instead. • Size the band to the wearer from a ring chart, or blow it up large as a shelf or desk piece. • Print upright with light supports inside the band, then wet-sand the outer face without flooding the lettering. • Finish with gold leaf or metallic wax, and float a brown wash into the runes so the inscription stands proud.
