Props like this end up in one of two places: on the hip of a costume at a convention, or on a bracket in the room where the rest of the collection lives. Either way the piece has to read from across a crowded hall, so the silhouette does more work than any amount of close-up surface detail. It arrives as a single file, a whole prop in one piece of geometry rather than a bundle of components, which makes it a sensible first sword build.
