Wado Ichimonji

Anyone who has followed a certain long-running pirate anime knows this blade on sight. It is the heirloom katana carried by the crew's swordsman, kept for the promise attached to it as much as for what it can do, and treated in-universe as a graded weapon with a genuine reputation. The design leans on that restraint: a clean, traditional sword shape rather than a fantasy weapon loaded with spikes and flourishes. As a prop it is aimed at convention cosplay and at the wall behind the desk. Costumers assembling the swordsman's full three-blade look will want it alongside the others, while collectors of anime weaponry tend to mount it on a rack and leave it there permanently.
