Description
A single sculpted leg poised in a high-heeled shoe - cheeky, retro and unmistakable. Shown as a smooth blue study model, this piece is a stylised woman's leg captured from thigh to toe, gently bent at the knee and finished in a pointed-toe court shoe with a slim stiletto heel. The surfaces are clean and rounded, with just enough shaping at the calf, ankle and arch to read convincingly, and faint seam lines that suggest a fitted stocking. The obvious nod is to the famous 'leg lamp' from a certain festive comedy, which makes this a brilliant novelty ornament, a quirky mantel or bar-top conversation piece, or the base for a hollowed lamp build. It is playful rather than explicit - a clothed leg in a shoe, nothing more. Print notes • Resin/SLA gives the cleanest curves on the calf and heel; FDM works well at larger sizes with a fine layer height and post-print sanding. • Print with the leg angled and support the arch, the heel and the underside of the thigh; the slim heel is the most fragile point, so keep walls solid there. • Confidence on the intended use is moderate - it prints equally well as a solid ornament or, scaled up and hollowed, as a lamp body. • Sand the whole surface smooth before painting; a fishnet-pattern finish or glossy black shoe over a nude leg sells the retro look. Scale it small for a shelf gag gift, or large as a genuine statement lamp for a games room or home bar.
