A smooth, glossy, deep-cobalt sculpture with no surface texture to hide behind — the form is the whole story. A tapering teardrop body sweeps up and to the right, faint ridged lines running along its back like a wing or a fin, while beneath it a rounded hook curls back on itself toward the lower left. Read one way it suggests a bird caught mid-swoop or a stylised creature in motion; read another, it is simply a fluid piece of abstract sculpture.
