A curious low-poly sculpt where a pleated fan blossoms into a clustered bulb. Rendered in solid blue, the piece opens at one end into a broad, shell-like fan of radiating pleats — almost a cloak or a scallop — which narrows through a slim, ribbed stalk (finished with a small cuffed, finger-like tip) before swelling into a tight cluster of rounded, overlapping segments, like a pinecone, an artichoke, or a curled armoured fist. It is a smooth, stylised form rather than a finely detailed one, all flowing volumes and gentle facets. Given the abstract read, it suits fans of the source it is drawn from as a display curio, and doubles as a sculptural desk object, a paperweight-style ornament, or a prop base for a larger diorama. Print it small for a trinket or scale it up as a statement shelf piece. Print notes • The fanned end makes a natural flat footprint — orient it down and the clustered bulb becomes the overhang to support. • Expect to support the underside of the stalk and the gaps between the bulb segments; keep supports light to protect the smooth surfaces. • Resin captures the segment seams best; FDM at a low layer height and a smooth PLA also reads well thanks to the simple geometry. • Sand and prime, then paint in a single bold colour to emphasise the sweeping form.
