Description
A hero's grip, frozen in the beat before the strike. This fan-art sculpt shows a muscular, scale-armoured forearm and clenched fist wrapped around the shaft of a long trident, the three-pronged head sweeping out to one side. The scale texture running down the gauntlet is the giveaway — it channels Atlantis's king and his signature weapon. The diagonal composition looks caught mid-motion, all tension and forward drive. Printed and painted, it makes a striking desk or shelf display for a DC fan, a centrepiece for a superhero collection, or the basis for a cosplay prop scaled up to hand size. The deep navy render only hints at how good it will look in metallic teal or sea-green with silver drybrushing along the prongs. Print notes • Resin gives the sharpest scales and trident tips; on FDM, lay the shaft along the plate and expect supports beneath the prongs and the underside of the hand. • The slim trident tines are the weak point — thicken them slightly, or print them separately and pin them, for a robust prop. • Splitting at the wrist makes support removal and painting far easier; glue afterwards. • Prime, layer teal over the scales, then a bright metallic on the trident head for that comic-panel finish. A bold collectible that really rewards a careful paint job, and an eye-catcher on any fan's shelf.
