A single forked branch, caught mid-reach like a divining rod. The model is a slim, organic twig that splits into a shallow Y near the top, sending two slightly uneven prongs skyward while the main shaft tapers and kinks down to a pointed root end. The surface is smoothly rounded rather than bark-rough, so it reads as a stylised branch or a hand-cut catapult fork more than a botanically detailed limb. One prong is cut on an angle, giving the whole piece a sense of natural asymmetry that keeps it from looking manufactured. It is a versatile little sculpt. Print it small and it becomes a tree armature or scenery twig for a diorama, model railway or terrarium; print it larger and the fork works as a slingshot handle, a miniature staff or wand blank, or a whimsical stand for hanging a ring, earbuds or a single dried flower. Because it is one continuous shape, it also makes a satisfying test object for dialing in your organic-curve settings. Print notes • The two upright prongs are the only real overhang risk; a light tree-support under each tip keeps them clean. • Print at a slight tilt or lay it along the bed to run the grain of the layer lines with the branch for extra strength at the fork junction. • FDM in a wood-fill filament takes a stain beautifully; resin holds the tapered tip crisp if you want a fine point. • Sand the fork intersection lightly to blend the two limbs into the trunk.
