Batman Beyond Animated Series

The Dark Knight, shrunk to adorable. This is a chibi, big-head caricature of Batman in the collectible vinyl-toy style. An oversized rounded cowl dominates the figure, with two tall pointed ears and just a hint of the mask's cheek line, sitting on a tiny stubby body. The cape sweeps out behind in a couple of pointed panels, a segmented utility belt with a round buckle wraps the waist, and the bat emblem is embossed on the little chest. Short arms and stumpy legs complete the cute, super-deformed proportions. It ships as two parts, the character and a separate display base, so you can print, pose and mount it cleanly. It is a perfect desk mascot, cake-topper-style ornament or gift for a comics fan, and the smooth simplified surfaces make it one of the easier hero figures to paint convincingly. Print notes: • Two files are included: base only, and the caped figure without base, so slice them separately and glue after cleanup. • Print the body with the cape acting as a natural back support; add light supports under the chin, ear tips and outstretched hands. Resin gives the crispest belt and emblem, but FDM at 0.12 mm handles the rounded forms well. • Around 80-100 mm tall keeps it toy-sized and stable on the supplied base. • Undercoat grey, block in the suit, then pick out the belt, emblem and cape lining; a soft gloss coat mimics the vinyl-figure sheen.
