Baymax

A marshmallow of a robot, caught mid-sprawl. This is Baymax at his most endearing: a plump, pillow-smooth figure flopped forward onto his front, dome of a body rising in one gentle unbroken curve. There isn't a hard edge anywhere on him. The head tucks low, stubby arms fold in with the faintest suggestion of tiny fingers, and two rounded legs splay out behind, each capped with soft toe-like nubs. The whole sculpt trades detail for volume, which is exactly the charm, it reads instantly as the huggable inflatable nurse even in a plain single-colour print. Sitting somewhere between a chunky desk companion and a shelf mascot, he's the kind of piece people pick up and squeeze. Print him big for a bedside buddy or small for a keyboard-side friend. Fans of the film, gift-givers after something soft-hearted, and anyone who wants a low-effort crowd-pleaser will all get on with him. Print notes • Print in white PLA or resin for the screen-accurate look; a light satin coat keeps the surface reading as vinyl. • FDM benefits from 0.12mm layers and generous smoothing, the rounded body shows layer lines readily. • The sprawled pose needs modest supports under the tucked arms and the gap beneath the belly; tree supports peel away cleanly. • Solid, forgiving geometry with no thin spans, so it scales up or down without trouble.
