Cloche

A pure, satisfying bell — nothing but curve and poise. Despite the listing chatter, the model itself is exactly what its name (French for "bell") promises: a clean cloche form. A softly domed shoulder swells outward and flares into a wide, gently trumpeted skirt, finished with a tiny nub at the very crown. There's no clapper or handle shown — just a smooth, glossy sculptural solid whose whole appeal is the sweep of that silhouette. The rendered deep-blue gloss shows off how mirror-smooth the surface reads. Because it's a simple, versatile form, it can be whatever you need: a decorative mantel bell, an oversized cabinet knob or drawer pull, a finial or newel cap, a chunky board-game piece, a pawn-style pen holder blank, or a master pattern for casting. It's an ideal shape to test a new filament's finish, too. Print notes: • Orient it crown-up, skirt flat to the bed — the wide base gives a rock-solid footprint and needs no supports. • The continuous curve rewards a fine layer height (0.08–0.12 mm) or resin for a truly glassy skin. • Print solid for a knob or weighted piece; run it hollow / vase-style if you want a light shell or an actual open bell. • Add a threaded insert or bore the base if you're turning it into a knob or finial. A coat of gloss and it looks ceramic; left matte, it reads like carved stone.
