Description

A ring of little stone arches to crown a model tower. Despite the coded French name — *corbeaux droits*, or "upright corbels" — the render tells the real story: a chunky toroidal rim wraps around a central circular opening, drops onto a banded collar, and below that runs a continuous arcade of pointed arches, exactly like the machicolated gallery that oversails a medieval keep. It reads as the projecting bracket-course that sits under a turret's overhanging battlement — one module of a larger castle build rather than a standalone figure. Slot it over a cylindrical tower shaft to give a plain wall that convincing fortified overhang, or use it as a decorative collar on a diorama, wargaming terrain piece or tabletop scenery. The open centre lets a mast, flagpole or an upper tower section pass straight through. Print notes: • Prints best flat, arches pointing down, so the rounded rim self-supports and the little arch openings bridge cleanly. • The undersides of the arches are the only real overhang — a light tree/organic support there keeps them crisp; everything else needs none. • PLA at 0.16–0.2mm captures the arcade detail; scale it to match the rest of your tower parts before slicing. • Stone-grey or sandstone filament plus a thin dark wash into the arch recesses sells the masonry instantly.
