Corniche Haute

A crisp mitred corner of crown moulding, ready to tile away. Despite the odd listing category, the model itself is unmistakably an architectural cornice profile: an L-shaped corner section where two lengths of moulding meet at a clean 45-degree mitre. The cross-section steps up from a flat back into a rounded bead and a shallow ogee-style crown, exactly the kind of trim that runs along the top of a wall, a cabinet or a picture frame. Shown here in a solid blue preview, it's essentially a repeatable building block for finishing edges. Print notes • Print it flat on its back face; the profile then rises off the bed with zero supports and the crisp bead lands on top. • It's built to repeat, so butt straight sections end to end and use this corner to turn a clean 90 degrees for frames or cornice runs. • Excellent for dollhouse and 1:12 diorama architecture, model-railway buildings, or full-size lightweight cornice in PLA or foaming filament. • Sand along the length with the profile rather than across it, and a coat of filler-primer will erase layer lines before paint. • Scale the cross-section to match existing trim if you're patching or extending real moulding.
