A single sweeping curve caught mid-fold, like a sail pinned taut at its four corners. This model is pure sculptural form: a smooth, four-pointed concave shell that dips into a low central trough and lifts away into four crisp peaks, shown here in a deep marine blue that emphasises the flowing, tensile lines. There is no face, figure or ornament here — the whole appeal is the geometry, the kind of saddle-shaped, hyperbolic sweep you see in tensile canopies, modern architecture and minimalist statement sculpture. The surface itself is clean and largely detail-free, which makes it read as either a finished abstract object or, given its "corps / fenetre" (body / window) naming, quite possibly one shell panel from a larger assembly. Taken on its own it works nicely as a contemporary desk or shelf piece, a striking paperweight, or a base/riser to sit a smaller object inside its cupped centre. Because it is essentially a thin curved membrane, printing rewards a little planning. Print notes: • Orient one of the raised corners downward so the central trough opens upward — this minimises the steep overhang beneath the fold. • Add light supports under the lowest point of the curve; the rest self-supports as a gentle slope. • Thicken the wall slightly if you want a display-solid feel rather than a fragile shell. • The blank surfaces love a smooth finish: sand, prime and paint gloss for a lacquered look, or print in a translucent filament and backlight it.
