Description

A curved slice of fortress wall, ready to anchor a diorama. This piece reads as a concave section of a rounded rampart or tower face — a smooth shell that bows inward as though it were cut from a circular keep. The upper edge sweeps up into a gentle arch with a small stepped notch at one shoulder, hinting at a broken parapet or the start of a crenellation run. Midway down, a rectangular opening cuts clean through the wall like an arrow-slit or narrow window, and on the inner face two vertical ribs run bottom-to-top like buttresses bracing the curve. The deep cobalt render flattens the surface, so what you are really getting is the silhouette and geometry rather than fine stonework texture — that is yours to add with paint. It suits terrain builders and diorama makers assembling a castle scene, a fantasy tabletop board, or a display backdrop behind a resin figure. Line several curved segments up to rough out a round tower, or use it solo as a standalone ruin. Print notes • Stand the shell on its base edge so the curve rises vertically; the flat foot gives a stable first layer with no raft needed. • The inner buttress ribs double as anti-warp bracing, but add a few tree supports under the arched overhang and the top of the window cut. • Walls are thin — 3 to 4 perimeters keeps them rigid; scale up around 150% if you want a heftier terrain block. • Grey or stone PLA on FDM drybrushes beautifully; resin captures the crisp window edge if you want it sharper.
