Description
A stout stone turret, battlements up and ready to hold the line. This model is a tapered cylindrical castle tower wrapped top to bottom in staggered masonry courses, with a ring of crenellations — square merlons and gaps — crowning the parapet. The walls flare gently toward the base for a planted, load-bearing look, and the individual stone blocks are cut deep enough to catch a dry-brush or a wash beautifully. The title's "tour" is simply French for tower, and that is exactly what you get: a self-contained keep section. Drop it onto a wargaming table as defensible terrain, use it as a corner tower for a larger modular castle, or set it in a fantasy diorama as a lonely watchtower. The open crenellated top doubles as a fighting platform for perched miniatures. Print notes: • Prints upright with no supports — the brick relief and battlements resolve cleanly straight off the plate. • Great vase-mode candidate if you want a fast, hollow terrain piece; bump perimeters up for a sturdier wall. • 0.2mm layers are plenty; the stonework happily hides the layer lines. • Scale to suit 28–32mm heroic miniatures, or print small as a chess-piece rook or shelf ornament. Honest, hard-wearing scenery that paints up fast and earns its place on any tabletop.
