Description
A clean, minimal curved block — simple by design. Shown as a smooth solid form, this piece is a compact rounded rectangular bar with a gently scooped concave hollow cut into one end, its edges softly filleted so there's not a sharp corner in sight. There's no figure or ornament here; the appeal is purely in the pared-back shape. The name 'Creneau' — French for a crenel or slot — points at its purpose: it reads as a cradle or rest, the kind of curved seat that would hold a rounded object, a stylus, a dowel or a rail. Because the image and title give little away, treat this as a low-key utility or architectural part rather than a display sculpt (lower confidence on exact use). Print notes • Dead simple to print: sit it flat on the largest face so the concave scoop faces up, and no supports are required. • FDM at 0.2 mm is plenty; the smooth curve benefits from a light sanding or a coat of primer for a seamless finish. • Solid geometry means you can drop infill to 15–20% and still get a sturdy, weight-bearing block. • Scale it to match whatever it needs to cradle — the curve is the functional part, so size that hollow to your object. An honest, no-frills component for a stand, rest or modular build.
