A pared-back desk cradle that lets one curved groove do all the work. This piece reads as a compact, softly rounded block — smooth on every face, with generously radiused corners and a gentle ridge running along the top. One end is scooped out into a shallow, concave channel, a cradle just deep enough to seat something slim and hold it at a slight tilt. There is no ornament at all; the whole appeal lives in the clean, pebble-smooth geometry and the way that single carved notch breaks the mass. It works as a minimalist stand for a phone, a stylus, a pen or a games controller — anything you want kept upright and close to hand on a desk, bedside table or workbench. Run off in a bold, saturated filament it doubles as a quiet bit of desk sculpture. Print notes: • Sit it flat on the base with the scooped groove facing up — in that orientation it needs no supports whatsoever. • PLA is fine for a display stand; PETG adds a little grip and heat tolerance if it will hold a phone in a sunny window or warm car. • The large flat faces show every layer line, so a fine layer height (0.12–0.16 mm) plus a light sanding pays off if you want that solid, moulded look. • Scale it up or down in the slicer to match whatever you plan to rest in the cradle.
