A smooth, pebble-like block scooped through with a single curving channel. The render here is abstract: a rounded, glossy blue form — broad and low, its edges softened like a river-worn stone — cut across the top by a shallow concave groove that dips and rises in a gentle curve. There is no figure or logo to read; it is a clean sculptural shape, and the name Creneau (French for a notch or slot) points straight at that carved channel as the point of the piece. In practice a form like this works as a rest or cradle: the trough will happily seat a pen, a stylus, a phone edge, a knife spine, cables or a small rod — anything you want held at a slight angle and stopped from rolling away. It also stands on its own as a minimalist desk or shelf object. Because the geometry is simple and the model is a single solid, it is a quick, low-fuss print. Print notes: • FDM prints cleanly flat-side down; the open scooped channel needs no supports. • Bump perimeters and infill if you want desk-object heft and a dead-flat, non-slip base. • Keep the concave groove facing up so the curve stays smooth; sand and polish for a seamless skin. • Resin gives the glossiest, most sculptural finish if you want it to match the render exactly.
