Description

The cavalier's shield, straight off the Saturday-morning screen. Fans of the 1983 Dungeons & Dragons cartoon will know this shape on sight: Eric's rounded kite shield, with a heraldic emblem sunk into a raised roundel near the top and a broad, gently domed face tapering to a point below. Rendered here as a solid prop, it carries a small peg on the reverse, ideal for slotting into an action-figure's arm, mounting on a display stand, or pinning to a shelf riser among a group of cartoon keepsakes. Print it small as a collectible accessory or blow it up toward cosplay size for a wearable centrepiece. Who it is for: nostalgia collectors, prop-makers assembling the show's party of heroes, and anyone building a themed display. Print notes • Print face-down for a smooth front; the flat back needs no supports. • The recessed emblem takes paint well: base coat, then a wash to pop the crest. • At cosplay scale, hollow the body and add a strap boss to the back to keep the weight down. • Resin captures the emblem crisply; FDM works fine with a light sand and a filler-primer pass over the front face.
