A rippling crown for the very top of a castle wall. Rendered in glossy deep blue, this is a smooth, elongated block with a gentle S-wave running along its length — lifted at the ends and dipping softly through the middle, like an undulating coping or a stylised merlon cap. The name "Dessus creneaux" (French: top of the battlements) tells you exactly where it belongs: it's the finishing piece that sits atop a wall or crenellation run, rounding off the parapet with a flowing profile. Every surface is clean and toy-simple, with a flat underside made to sit flush on the wall below. It's the detail part that turns a blocky castle build into something that reads as a proper fortress, especially along a roofline or a run of scenery. Print notes • Flat-bottomed, so it prints straight onto the bed with no supports. • The smooth wave hides layer lines — a coarser 0.2–0.28mm layer height prints fast and still looks clean. • Scale it to match the length and height of your existing wall pieces, then batch several for a continuous run. • PLA plus a grey-stone drybrush blends it seamlessly into the rest of the set. *Honest note: it's an abstract, smooth capping shape, so its exact fit depends on the modular castle system it was made for.*
