Diffuser A

A diffuser is the piece that stands between a bulb and the room. Left bare, a lamp throws hard light and a hot spot; put a shaped shell around it and the same source becomes something you can sit under without squinting at it. This is that shell, drawn as a clean geometric volume that keeps the attention on the glow rather than on itself. Because it is a printed part rather than fabric or glass, the surface itself becomes the pattern — the geometry of the shell is what decides how the light spreads and where it falls, which is why the profile matters more here than any ornament stuck on afterwards. Nine files make up the set, which puts it at the more ambitious end of printed lighting. It suits a shelf light, a bedside fitting, or a corner lamp that mostly exists to keep a room from going flat after dark.
