Dragon Lamp

A lamp that looks like a dragon's bones lit from within. This multi-part lighting build wraps a stack of cylindrical base rings in a sculpted dragon skeleton: a long, spiny jaw-and-spine section bristling with rows of conical fangs and vertebral spikes, its surface pitted and gnarled like weathered bone. Warm light bleeds out through the gaps between the ribs and teeth, throwing dramatic shadows and giving the whole piece a fossil-meets-fantasy glow when it is switched on. It makes a statement on a games-room shelf, a reading nook, a home bar or anywhere that could use a touch of menace, and it is a great gift for dragon fans and tabletop gamers. Assembled from the base cylinders and several dragon-bone mesh panels, it goes together without glue if you print the joints tight. Print notes: • Use an LED bulb or LED strip only and keep filament well away from any heat source. • Translucent, amber or bone-white PLA/PETG diffuses the glow beautifully; print the bone panels with thin walls for maximum light transmission. • Most panels print flat with little or no support; the spiked jaw benefits from a few supports under the longest fangs. • Dry-fit the base rings first, then stack and seat the mesh sections; a dark wash over bone-coloured filament deepens the fossil texture.
